6 Flags Theme Park - Dubai

As a part of the long term strategy to develop the City of Dubai as a world class tourist destination, 6 Flags, a leading theme park operator was approached to develop a new park outside the City. Joining the team as a Master Planner and Landscape Architect, Rabben/Herman developed alternative site plans, arranged the program elements according to create compelling thematic environments, developed detailled design drawings that expressed the thematic character and arranged the various support elements for a world class theme park. Diagrams explaining everything from guest circulation, optimal cart locationdistribution of support facilities, even strategies for providing relief from the intense desert sun were prepared to explain the plan and engage management's support and input into the process.
